My brand new track: untitled_310513 – work in progress – Fake Plastic Heads

Ok folks, so I bought this M-Audio controller (it totally freaks me out, hooking it up to the iMac and launching Ableton Live ๐Ÿ™‚ – and all of a sudden, this new tune dropped by, telling me that it’s not finished yet. It wants to become a true Fake Plastic Heads songs with vocals and all that other fancy stuff you can imagine.
So, this weekend, I hope I’ll be finishing this tune.
Here’s the track:

Ok, this is a nice unfinished to-do list, isn’t it?
I’m thinking about going the the EXIT Festival in Novi Sad, Serbia this year.
Have you already been there?
I know the location, this should work “quite good” ๐Ÿ™‚

Boards of Canada . Reach for the Dead (VIDEO + MUSIC)

Finally, Boards of Canada have come back with a new WARP release. This first track is really amazing – inviting me to drift away and stay there for a while.

I missed them! Although I have all of their releases. It’s good to know they’re back.

Spreading so much positive energy! This track will be played via heaphones all over again, until the official release date: June, 10th.

Stay tuned and enjoy the ride:

Just for the record:

When I first “started” the 4- or 5-hours telephone sessions with my fiancรฉe back in January 2006 (I lived in Cologne at that time, she was living near Munich) – Boards of Canada was always playing in the background. We both loved having them around while getting to know each other. So now, quite a few years later, we still enjoy listening to their albums (together). That’s why I’m so “mad” about their upcoming release ๐Ÿ™‚
