I created this site some time ago. FTP account set, one more time. I want to redesign this site and add a couple of features.

From back in the day when I had my own tiny netlabel, I still have some excellent contacts to musicians worldwide.

So the idea is, to kind of bring a part of it back to life.

Let’s wait, code and see.

I had to go offline for a while. Came back inspired.

When you’re working hard and get that certain feeling, that you were sucked inside a black hole – the only thing that works for me is: nature.

So one more time, I had to “unplug” myself and take a long walk.

It’s amazing: from time to time I forget the powers of nature itself. This photo was taken some time ago, but this is that certain kind of setting that lets me let go of all the troubles of everyday “regular life”.

Motion Graphics – Example Nr. 303 – “Room 606” @Radar5Media

This motion graphics experiment was made with Maxon’s Cinema 4D. I built a room and placed a couple of objects inside. After working with keyframes to make the animations, I rendered the short clip and imported it to Adobe Premiere. Once there, I added one of my own sound samples and worked with a couple plugins to achieve this certain look.

Take a look and enjoy this tiny ride into a slightly different setting.

I’m a die-hard NIN/Trent Reznor fan, ever since I saw the “Head Like A Hole”-Video on MTV back in 1989.

I saw NIN twice on stage, getting ready for the third live-experience as soon as they come back.

MIXED MEDIA EXPERIMENT – VOLUME 001

Ok, vor ca. 2 Wochen habe ich mit einer Skizze begonnen. Diese habe ich heute fertig gestellt und erst einmal gescannt.

Im zweiten Schritt habe ich einige zusätzliche Ebenen (Texturen) geladen und mit Ebenenmasken gearbeitet, um das folgende Resultat zu erreichen:

We’ve seen bands like SICK OF IT ALL, DEFTONES and CALLEJON and had an absolutely fantastic time!

Als ich noch etwas jünger war, gehörte New York Hardcore zum Musiksortiment – das ist zwar lange her, aber die Jungs von Sick of it All sind immer noch da und machen somit eine kleine Zeitreise möglich. Ich freu mich riesig auf deren Auftritt auf dem Chiemsee Rocks Festival und kann es kaum erwarten, die “Jungs” live zu sehen!
