Fake Plastic Heads – They Thought We Were Dead (Deconstructing Time Mix)
Here’s my brand new song.
Hey guys, I haven’t updated this site for quite a few years now. So I thought, a couple of decades ago: let’s work on a new track with U.S. spoken word artist Guy Williams, Jr.
Ok, two weeks have passed. I haven’t slept for hours. Time to finish this day with an extra posting about my Fake Plastic Heads.
Fact: Guy’s an extremely talented artist! We’ve worked a couple of years ago on an album (2006/2007).
As time passed (sort of) – we had more to say, audio-visually speaking.
Turn up that volume and enjoy this brand new production:
This one is a producting for my friend Guy Williams, Jr. – a spoken word artist from the U.S. – the vocals are missing in this version – the proper mix will be finished soon:
A couple of weeks ago, I received a couple of spoken word files from my U.S. friend Guy Williams, Jr.
I started with “Tom’s Diner” and came up with this quite different version:
I’ll be working on a new EP that will feature at least 6 original tracks. + I got all the freedom (the direction is set with this first song)
If you dig the sound, feel free to say ‘hi’ over there at soundcloud. Or you could even “Facebook me” (Charles S. Kuzmanovic).
In case you are wondering which tools I use: it’s quite simple – a midi interface + a couple of sound production tools.
Right now, I have this special new mix of some of my favourite tunes. It’s not an easy ride, especially when you’re someone who’s wake-up-mood is different all the time.
HERE’S SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT AND ENJOY:
This track here is from my 1st EP feat. Japanese cyber-author Kenji Siratori.
Back in 1996 I wrote a short story (17 chapters) about two families, that are tied together throughout many decades.
This “songs” here is the introduction to their story:
